The fact that you came on the Prague city subreddit and asked âhow do I get to know girlsâ like they are some sort of object to be conquered in a foreign land, and you expect us to tell you how to get girls, speaks volumes about your attitude towards women. Learn some manners and donât be narcissistic might be a good place to start
Just arrived to Prague for my semester of studying abroad and while I understand this is not a typical first day in prague experience, but would there be any american-type bars that would be showing the Jaguars-Patriots AFC Championship? Really don't wanna Jag-off by myself in this beautiful city!
Anywhere in Prague 1, but that is the touristy area so there are some tourist traps. I would recommend MalĂĄ Strana, its a quick walk across the bridge to old town and it a nice area. If you want to avoid Prague 1 you could look in Vinohrady. Itâs a very nice area popular with expats, loads of good bars and restaurants and few tourists.
dobĹe rĂĄno yâall! So as the title states I am in search of the best dive bars in Praha. Weâre talking old uncles in the corner passed out, 20 year old decor on the walls, a grumpy bartender. I really want to surprise my bf with a âDive Bar Crawlâ but as heâs Czech and I am a foreigner, he tends to find the pubs we frequent.
Off to Prague in two weeks time, and want to go to a decent rooftop bar with some friends, preferably not a restaurant. If you've got any good bars to suggest that'll be appreciated too comments sorted by Best Top New Controversial Q&A Add a Comment
Tourists consider it the âtypical Czech pubâ, but itâs not exactly for that reason. If you wanna go to club, then Lucerna on Fridayâs and Saturdayâs plays some 80s-90s music and itâs packed with people. Another bet would be Futurum Music bar (both Lucerna and Futurum are very mainstream).
Hmm, I've done Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Bruges and personally I found Bruges had the best beer culture, followed by Krakow, then closely by Prague, Budapest is far more culture than beer. I'm off round Europe again for two weeks on Friday, will be doing two days in Prague followed by two in Krakow so I'll see if I still feel the same way :-)
Afaik They are open but only for fully vaccinated* or people who have recovered from the virus in the past 6 months. A negative PCR test is not enough, unless you have had the second vaccine dose in the past 14 days or you have a proven medical condition that you cannot get vaccinated.

Hello Me and my friend are in Prague and we want to taste some traditional food. Which resturants and national dishes would you recommend? Also we want to know which are some of the best breweries to taste Czech beer.
I was living in Prague 5 and had family staying at the Hotel General (right off of the AndĂŞl stop) and it was quiet, clean and perfectly friendly. 1. redpola. ⢠5 yr. ago. Ostruvek. I have stayed in tens of hotels in Prague and only stayed at Ostruvek after I found it. Itâs quiet, cheap, friendly, has working showers, is in a non-tourist
The MadHouse in Prague was honestly the best hostel I stayed in my whole trip around Europe. Best atmosphere, best place to meet people, they do pub crawls every night and beer pong starts at 8pm! And they hold home cooked dinners for a small price every couple of nights! Loved it!
5. ARenko. ⢠4 yr. ago. I was in Prague last week. I stayed in Karlin - a hipster'ish place relatively recently gentrified (yet not overly so). It was nice to be away from the tourists and easy to get into town on the tram. Lots of good cafes and restaurants. 5. aminorincident.
A redditor's guide to Prague. Walk around Josefov. This is a Jewish quarter of the old town. Walk around Mala Strana (the lesser quarter), in particular Kampa island. See the statue of St Wenceslaus at Wenceslaus Square (Vaclavske Namesti). Note that the restaurants and bars here are particularly
The place itself is worth a visit: a huge "saloon" with a lot of pool tables and a pingpong room that looks like an old abandoned factory. The place is called "Megasportbar fortuna" and you'll find it almost hidden at the end of "V cipu" street. Hope you can get there ! OK, didn't realize lalilulelo09 posted the same place (sorry for that). But
